Level 8 Announces Immediate Availability of Cicero 6.1
FARMINGDALE, NJ, December 6, 2005 – Level 8 Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:LVEL) announced the general availability of Cicero 6.1, an integration platform that automates the flow of information between applications and streamlines business processes. This latest release provides new tools for integrators, improved performance and reliability as well as new features, adding greater business value to end users.
Cicero integrates applications with business processes and human expertise, creating seamless, cost effective solutions that improve efficiency. It enhances end-user productivity by providing a cohesive, task-oriented application interface that works the way people think. Cicero’s unique and patented non-invasive, no-coding approach to application integration allows businesses to streamline operations and unite systems that would not otherwise work together – all at much lower costs, with less effort and risk than other integration approaches.
Unlike other integration products, Cicero delivers a return on investment that is measured in weeks rather than months.
Reduce Integration TimeCicero 6.1 provides new tools, which allows integrators to do more in less time. Some of these new tools include:
- Cicero Inc. is a leading provider of software integration solutions that streamline business processes and improve the productivity of knowledge workers where business systems are used – at the desktop. Cicero Studio™ provides a framework to non-invasively integrate disparate applications faster and at a fraction of the cost of other integration solutions. Companies and government agencies using Cicero are able to integrate applications and business systems in weeks and to experience an ROI within months of implementation.
- Cicero Visual Debugger - presents a full range of capabilities to step through an integration flow and quickly examine data so problems can be isolated and identified in the configurable integration layer.
- Application Pooling – multiplies the processing power of integration by allowing the simultaneous running of a number of instances of a required application. This feature greatly improves the overall system performance when used as a component of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- History Management – provides greater control from which end users’ actions are recorded. The history log viewer also allows the end-user to return to specific execution points in a workflow, enabling the end-user to back-track through a business process.
- Expanded Action Packages - provides the integrator with greater functionality for less effort.
- Deployment Options - make it easier to create and deploy a secure Cicero-based integration that cannot be modified by end users
Cicero 6.1 provides new features that allow end-users such as those working in contact centers, command and emergency operations centers to perform more effectively including:
- Improved Performance – additional integration options provide enhanced desktop performance.
- Business Process Automation – enables customers to easily define and configure multiple, complex business processes with new Cicero Flows.
- History “Go-Back” – users can go back to a certain step within a business process to restore data or retrace their steps; integrators can also use this to step through an integration project to ensure that the correct data is shared and the business process is defined correctly.
- Flexible Integrated Desktop – new configuration options allow customers to create customized desktops to meet specific business requirements.
- Shorter Implementation Time – new integration features and deployment options put a solution in front of employees in weeks, not months.
