PART-TIME SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR / SUPPORT ENGINEER
Cicero, Inc., a global leader in customer experience management and desktop integration solutions, is seeking a Systems Administrator / Support Engineer to provide systems and network administration, internal IT support, and external support on the company’s products. This is a part-time position leading to a full time position based on future business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Perform on-site and remote technical support for IT and the company’s products.
- Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups and disaster recovery.
- Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
- Provide emergency on-call support for internal and external customers.
- Create and maintain good technical documentation.
- Assist in the testing of software including the company’s products.
- Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to resolve issues.
- Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.

- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years technical experience providing IT and customer support including troubleshooting, maintaining LANs, and system configuration.
- MCSE or equivalent experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining Microsoft-based servers.
- Experience setting up and maintaining Cisco routers, VPNs and firewalls is required.
- Installing, configuring, and administering Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SQL is required.
- Experience with HTML and web site development is preferred.
- Accountability and a strong customer service ethos are essential prerequisites for this critical role. An ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance is a must.
- Ability to move IT related equipment and configure hardware as needed.
- Excellent written and oral communications with strong presentation skills.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
Location:
- This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Cary, NC.
Salary:
- Starting salary is commensurate on experience.
SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
C#, .NET, WCF/WPF/VSIP
Cicero, Inc. has a Senior Software Developer position open for a C#, .NET, WCF/WPF/VSIP Developer. Contract or contract to perm will also be considered. Atlanta area preferred but not required. You will join an exceptional development team and work in current and forward technologies with an established and growing entrepreneurial company. You must be a versatile engineer with interests in software process, design, coding and testing. You will need to excel in both team and work at home environments and possess well-developed written and oral communication skills. Our professional staff enjoys a casual, relaxed, and creative work environment.
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in Software Development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design
- Strong knowledge of multi-threaded Windows development

CICERO SALES ENGINEER
Cicero Sales Engineers are responsible for supporting the sales force in all aspects of the pre and post sales cycles. This position also requires becoming efficient with the Cicero Integration Studio to complete Cicero Integrations at Customer Sites. The idea candidate has excellent presentation skills and a strong technical background. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gathering information and requirements from customers and partners to formulate and document suitable Cicero solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical sales presentations on Cicero solutions and services.
- Perform Cicero Product Demos to both business and technical audience
- Do ROI Analysis and create customer case studies
- Creation and implementation of Cicero Design Documents
- Product presentation at trade shows
- Post Sales Project Management and assistance with Cicero Professional Services
The position may require up to 50% Travel.
Required skills include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum 4 years pre- and post-sales experience including requirements gathering and project management
- 5+ years of technical Contact Center experience
- Understanding of call center software, IT environment, and business is required
- Experience working with best practices in call centers, business process management, and call center metrics is preferred

Cicero, Inc. has open positions in our Professional Services team. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our customers demonstrating and delivering Cicero products, defining and implementing mission-critical solutions in contact and call centers of major corporations and servicers.
You must be a highly motivated and self-managed professional with a proven record of successful software implementation. You will have the opportunity to exercise a broad range of “hands-on” consulting disciplines including: project management, business / solution analysis, solution design and development, implementation, training, and support.
Your analytical skills should be backed up by programming experience in a high level language (such as C#) or with business process/software development tools. You will be working with innovative products and technologies such as .NET, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WF (Windows Workflow Foundation), WCF (Windows Communications Foundation) and MS SQL (or Oracle).
