Integration Solutions Sales Engineer / Architect

Cicero, Inc., a publicly traded technology company specializing in desktop integration software, is seeking an Integration Solution Sales Engineer. This position will provide sales support, technical expertise, project management and implementation support to prospects and customers during the pre and post sales phase of their development.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Determine how Cicero fits into the customer's architecture and address their business requirements.
  • Evaluate the prospect’s business and workflow processes and identify areas for improved productivity using Cicero.
  • Manage relations between Integration Specialists, operational personnel and management within prospect account.
  • Provide assistance to prospects with integration, training, support, and deployment of the integrated solution.
  • Demonstrate Cicero’s capabilities to prospects and contribute technical expertise on RFPs and other proposals.
  • Provide feedback on product features and priorities to product management.
  • Build integrations using Cicero technology for product demonstrations, POCs, and other events.
  • Troubleshoot and track issues during the project life cycle.
  • Prepare pre and post sales documentation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years technical experience working independently with customer environments, including Contact Centers.
  • Understanding of call center software, IT environment, and business is required.
  • Minimum 2 years pre- and post-sales experience including requirements gathering and project management.
  • Thorough knowledge and use of .NET 2.0 (or later) in an enterprise environment is required.
  • Java experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lead small teams of technical personnel.
  • Experience working with best practices in call centers, business process management, and call center metrics is preferred.
  • Expertise with architecting, designing, developing and deploying call center software solutions.
  • Accountability and a strong customer service ethos are essential prerequisites for this critical role. An ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance is a must.
  • Travel will be required depending on prospect activity.
  • Ability to connect use of a technology to customer economic benefit.
  • Excellent written and oral communications with strong presentation skills.
Education:
  • A bachelor's degree is required. A degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
Salary:
  • Starting at $90K and is commensurate on experience.
  • Bonuses and incentives may be considered at this level and are not included in the salary. In addition, participant would be eligible for Company Stock options.

Systems Administrator / Support Engineer

Cicero, Inc., a publicly traded technology company specializing in desktop integration software, is seeking a Systems Administrator / Support Engineer. This position will provide systems and network administration, internal IT support, and external support on the company’s products.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Perform on-site and remote technical support for IT and the company’s products.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
  • Provide assistance to customers with integration, support, and deployment of the integrated solution.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups and disaster recovery.
  • Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
  • Provide emergency on-call support for internal and external customers.
  • Create and maintain good technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to resolve issues.
  • Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years technical experience providing IT and customer support including troubleshooting, maintaining LANs, and system configuration.
  • MCSE or equivalent experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining Microsoft-based servers.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining Cisco routers and firewalls is required.
  • Knowledge of Cisco VPN Concentrators is preferred.
  • Installing, configuring, and administering Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SQL is required.
  • Experience with HTML and web site development is preferred.
  • Java experience is preferred.

  • Ability to move IT related equipment and configure hardware as needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communications with strong presentation skills.
